Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative at Grey Stone Church, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all interactions with our community are positive and enriching. You will be the first point of contact for members and visitors, providing assistance, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns in a friendly and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Front-line Support: Greet and assist members and visitors both in-person and over the phone, providing information about church services, events, and programs.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve member concerns, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Administrative Tasks: Handle scheduling, and registration for events, and maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups.
Communication: Collaborate with other church staff and departments to ensure consistent and clear communication regarding church activities and initiatives.
Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of church events, including setting up, managing registrations, and providing support during events.
Feedback Collection: Gather and report on feedback from members to help improve church services and programs.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred, ideally in a faith-based or community-oriented setting.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to listen actively and provide clear, concise information.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with diverse individuals, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and experience with CRM systems is a plus.
Flexibility: Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for church events and services.
