We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Informatica Administrator to join our team as a full-time contractor or employee. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise data analytics, integration, and management, along with experience in data governance and data warehousing technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business objectives and challenges, identify alternative solutions, and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
- Work with stakeholders to assess current operational procedures, identify inefficiencies, and define data input, output, and reporting requirements.
- Develop detailed documentation outlining user needs, program functionalities, and required development steps.
- Evaluate system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine feasibility for requested program changes.
Required Skills:
- Experience with enterprise data analytics, integration, and management, working with data warehouse and data governance technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Informatica Administration (on-premises or hybrid), including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and business continuity support for:
- Axon Data Governance
- Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)
- PowerCenter
- Data Quality
- Strong SQL skills, including DML and DDL for Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
- Experience in performance tuning for data-intensive systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, and SQL, with experience automating system tasks, schedules, and deployments.
- Security vulnerability management and patching.
- Experience configuring EDC and Axon, including glossaries, dashboards, data quality features, and advanced scanners.
- Knowledge of source-to-target data lineage mapping and automated harvest methods.
- Proven ability to implement data integration best practices.
- Experience configuring SSO technologies for Informatica.
- Ability to read and interpret data payloads in JSON and XML formats.
- Understanding of IT data security principles, including certificates and ciphers.
- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Knowledge of Azure and Windows administration.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure solutions (Azure, AWS, OCI).
- Experience using JIRA for project tracking and collaboration.
- Experience managing large-scale data Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environments.
- Knowledge of DAMA DMBOK data management framework.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with Git version control systems and GitHub.
