We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee to join our team as an Senior Informatica Administrator.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business objectives and challenges, identifying alternative solutions, and conducting studies and cost/benefit analyses of various options. They will analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to either automate processes or enhance existing systems. The role involves collaborating with relevant departments to assess current operational procedures, identify issues, and determine specific input/output requirements—such as data input formats, data summarization, and report formatting. The candidate will also document detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps needed for developing or modifying programs. Additionally, they will assess system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested programs or changes can be implemented within the existing framework.
Required Skills:
- Experience in enterprise data analytics, integration, and management, particularly with data warehouse and data governance technologies
- Experience building APIs for integrating Informatica Data Governance tools with other systems
- Experience with the Informatica suite of tools, including Axon, EDC, and Informatica Data Quality, in on-premises or hybrid environments
- Experience configuring and customizing EDC and Axon, including glossaries, dashboards, data quality, discovery features, and advanced scanners
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Java, Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, SQL), with experience automating system tasks, schedules, and deployment processes
- Strong ability to read and interpret data payloads in JSON and XML formats
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Business Objects
- Experience in Informatica on-premises or hybrid administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patch management
