We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Legacy Systems Developer role.
Develop and maintain automated systems as part of the Maintenance and Operations team. Participate in multiple projects, covering all phases of the system development life cycle, including customer service, requirement analysis, coding, testing, and troubleshooting for both internal and external clients. Develop and test COBOL, Natural, and JCL applications according to design specifications, ensuring accessibility and usability. Document processes, create specifications, and develop test cases for new and modified programs. Design and develop structured systems that meet customer needs and adhere to agency standards. Perform additional tasks to ensure ongoing operations.
Required Skills:

Required Skills:

- Experience in SQL, Stored Procedures
- Working knowledge of scripting and batch processing in legacy and current technology
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design
- Ability to accurately test software applications using a data driven development approach
- Skill in solving problems; in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing programs; and in troubleshooting computer software systems
