We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Mainframe Developer role.
An experienced mainframe developer with strong proficiency in Natural programming, responsible for development, architecture, and administration of mainframe systems. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Natural programs and JCL to meet operational needs while collaborating with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. The candidate must ensure compliance with SDLC, testing, documentation, and operational support while troubleshooting complex technical issues. Additionally, they will work on automating manual processes through data integration between mainframe and external systems. A reliable work schedule is required, with occasional support outside normal business hours.
Required Skills:

Required Skills:
- Experience as a Mainframe Developer/Programmer Analyst with Natural programming
- Demonstrated foundational experience with large-scale, complex mainframe productions systems
- Hands-on experience in design, implementation, and productions support of applications
- Mainframe Development background in design, analysis, and coding: Natural programming, TSO/ISPF, JCL, and DB2.
Other skills: VSAM files.

• Perform application support tasks like systems support, security reviews, and maintenance tasks

- Experience to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items in Mainframe
- Testing experience
- Experience in database management systems (IBM Data Studio, Squirrel)
- Experience as a Programmer, Analyst, or Systems Administrator
Preferred Skills:
- Texas Workforce Commission experience
