We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a IT Business Analyst role.
Analyzes business objectives and challenges, evaluates alternative solutions, and conducts feasibility and cost-benefit analyses. Assesses user requirements, workflows, and system inefficiencies to enhance automation or optimize existing computer systems. Collaborates with organizational personnel to review current procedures, identify pain points, and define specific data input, processing, and reporting needs. Documents user requirements, program functionalities, and necessary steps for system development or modification. Examines system capabilities, technical specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine the feasibility of implementing requested programs or changes within the existing infrastructure.
Required Skills:

Required Skills:
- Expertise in database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Intersystems Cache) for efficient data migration to SaaS platforms. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Visio, and other spreadsheet tools.
- Evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and identifying automation opportunities to enhance system functionality.
- Experience in EHR application domains, workflow analysis, design, programming, and system support using software engineering practices.
- Documenting process flows, standardizing improvements, and collaborating with subject matter experts to optimize system usability.
- Preparing data input/output specifications and resolving complex data-related issues through analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication for clear project documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Knowledge of industry trends and market insights, applying them strategically within the organization.
- Understanding of infrastructure, applications, and organizational structure, including relevant architectural principles and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates.
- Familiarity with information architecture, information management methodologies, and Agile Scrum methodology.
- Understanding of existing and planned software technology, including global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
- Experience in regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data.
- Prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
