We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a CAPPS Business Process Consultant role.
This role involves working with cross-divisional executives, directors, and other stakeholders as directed by the CFO to review the TCAPPS business system configuration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the necessary functional and technical resources when collaboration is required.
- Assist with re-engineering or develop processes necessary for efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
- Working with business customers to gather requirements for the system and/or process improvements and report development.
- Provide input to project management to estimate the level of effort required for customer requested activities.
- Prepare detailed documentation in support of any of the activities listed above as requested by management.
- Complete full range of testing and configuration as needed.
- Design, Test and Build Queries to assist with business process improvement.
- Assist with All Activity Query Validation
Required Skills:
- Experience with CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reengineering best practices.
- Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement.
- Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms.
- Experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Expertise in CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing, E-Procurement, AP, Cash Receipts, Inventory, Assets, and Grants.
- Query and Reporting Development with CAPPS.
- Experience with the All-Activity Query Logic in CAPPS.
