CAPPS Financial Systems Lead Analyst

We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a CAPPS Financial Reporting Analyst role.
This role involves working with cross-divisional executives, directors, and other stakeholders as directed by the CFO to review the TCAPPS business system configuration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the All Activity Query Development.
- Designing, testing, and building queries to assist with business process improvements.
- Coordinating the development of additional reports and/or queries as needed.
- Assisting with re-engineering or developing processes necessary for the efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
- Working with business customers to gather requirements for system and/or process improvements and report development.
- Preparing detailed documentation to support any of the activities listed above, as requested by management.
- Completing a full range of testing as needed.
Required Skills:
- Experience with CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reengineering best practices.
- Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement.
- Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms.
- Experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Expertise in CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing, E-Procurement, AP, Cash Receipts, Inventory, Assets, and Grants.
- Query and Reporting Development with CAPPS.
- Experience with the All-Activity Query Logic in CAPPS.
