We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a CAPPS Financial Systems Lead Analyst role.
This role will involve working with cross-divisional executives, directors, and other stakeholders as directed by the CFO to review current TCAPPS business processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating the necessary functional and technical resources when collaboration isrequired
- Lead analysis to re-engineer or develop processes necessary for efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
- Working with business customers to gather requirements for the system and/or process improvements and report development.
- Responsible for consistent use of project standardized processes and forms, including
but not limited to, Functional Design Documents, Key Design Decisions, Change Controls, Risk and Issue log, Scope Documentation, Configuration Documentation, Business Process Flows, and other project documents as needed. - Provide input to project management to estimate the level of effort required for customer requested activities.
- Prepare detailed documentation in support of any of the activities listed above as requested by management.
- Complete full range of testing and configuration as needed.
- Design, Test and Build Queries to assist with business process improvement.
Required Skills: - Experience with CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reengineering best practices.
- Experience with Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement.
- Experience with the development of various reporting mechanisms.
- Experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas.
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Expertise in CAPPS GL, Commitment Control, Purchasing, E-Procurement, AP, Cash Receipts, Inventory, Assets, and Grants.
- PeopleSoft Financial modules implementation and post-go-live experience with an emphasis on process improvement.
Leading five (5) or more state agency CAPPS financial implementations.
