We are looking for an experienced Accessibility Developer with a strong background in accessibility engineering and enterprise-scale development. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in Drupal, Salesforce, and Appian platforms with proven skills in accessibility automation, compliance testing, and remediation. This role requires hands-on development and integration of accessibility best practices into modern enterprise applications.

- Develop and implement accessibility solutions across Drupal, Salesforce, and Appian platforms.
- Build and maintain accessibility automation frameworks (Selenium + Axe, Cypress, etc.) to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
- Conduct accessibility testing, produce VPATs, and support ADA/Section 508 compliance initiatives.
- Integrate accessibility checks into CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX designers, developers, QA engineers, and product managers) to embed accessibility practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance on accessibility remediation strategies and advocate for inclusive design.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of total software development experience, with at least 4 years focused on accessibility engineering.
- Strong development experience in Drupal, Salesforce, and Appian platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with front-end technologies (Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end integration (REST APIs, Spring Boot).
- Solid understanding of WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA, ADA, Section 508 standards.
- Proficiency in accessibility automation and testing tools:
- Selenium, Cypress, Axe-core, Jasmine, Karma, Postman
- Screen readers: JAWS, NVDA
- Evaluation tools: SiteImprove, WAVE
- Experience with accessibility integration into CI/CD workflows.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving ability with experience in script-driven workflows for accessibility.
- Familiarity with Appian accessibility frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile enterprise environments.
- Ability to mentor teams on accessibility best practices.
Education & Certifications
- B.Tech in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- IAAP WAS (Web Accessibility Specialist) Certified.
- DHS Trusted Tester v5 Certified.
