We are looking for an experienced Back-End Web Developer to join our team in a full-time capacity, either as a contractor or an employee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end development within full-stack environments, with specific expertise in Java, Spring technologies, and relational databases.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in full-stack web application development
- Proficient in Java 1.8+
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including Core, Boot, Data, and MVC
- Strong background in working with SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Expertise in building RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, JSON, Microservices architecture, and Red Hat OpenShift
- Familiarity with designing and implementing highly secure applications
- Experience in relational database design and data modeling
- Proficient with Git and Bitbucket
- Skilled in preparing and maintaining system documentation
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban)
- Hands-on experience with Enzyme 3.0+
- Experience working with the MESA payment platform
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enterprise-level software solutions
- Ability to conduct effective knowledge transfer to team members
- Familiarity with application deployment on Kubernetes or OpenShift
- Background in public sector projects (Federal, State, or Local Government)
- Experience using Confluence for documentation and collaboration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with MuleSoft implementation
