We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee to fill the role of Data Integration Engineer.
Required Skills:
- Experience developing mappings and workflows to automate ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
- Experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources using Informatica PowerCenter or IICS for use in Tableau visualizations. Data source technologies should include Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, and Adobe PDF.
- Proficiency in designing and developing complex Oracle and/or Snowflake SQL scripts that are optimized for performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience as a system analyst on data analytics, performance management systems, or data warehousing projects.
- Technical writing and diagramming skills, including proficiency with modeling and mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Erwin), as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- Experience in planning and delivering software platforms that support multiple products and organizational units.
- Experience designing and developing scripts using Python.
- Experience working on an Agile sprint team.
- Familiarity with JIRA software.
- Experience designing and developing code in Java and JavaScript.
- Experience developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Experience as a Mulesoft developer.
- Experience as a SAS Viya Administrator.
- Experience developing code in C#.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven ability to write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best software development practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize conflicting tasks, and quickly shift focus as needed.
- Understanding of security principles and their application to healthcare data.
- Experience with state-of-the-art software components for performance metrics data visualization or business intelligence environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in the Healthcare Industry.
- Prior experience working with an HHS agency.
- Experience handling PII or PHI data.
- Functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc.).
