Always Marketing is seeking a proactive and customer-centric Help Desk Specialist to join our growing IT support team. As a prominent Field Marketing agency in Malaysia, we prioritize technology as a core component of our operational excellence. The Help Desk Specialist will be the first point of contact for our internal teams and clients experiencing technical issues. This role is crucial in ensuring that all IT-related inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively, helping us maintain smooth operations throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for IT-related inquiries and issues via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Maintain a ticketing system and ensure accurate documentation of all support requests and resolutions.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software for employees.
- Educate users on proper use of IT resources and best practices.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT support processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a technical support or help desk role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools is a plus
