We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior QA Engineer Automated role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, and data conversion testing.
- Develop, review, and update test strategies, suites, and scripts.
- Identify and create test data to support comprehensive testing.
- Document and report test results, along with Problem Incident Reports (PIRs) and defect statuses.
- Assist the TWC Project Manager in developing and executing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Test Plan.
- Coordinate the scheduling of testing staff, test activities, and meetings.
- Provide training and mentorship to testing team members.
- Perform additional duties as required to support IT operations.
Required Skills:
- Experience performing user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, and data conversion testing.
- Expertise in identifying and creating test data.
- Strong ability to document and report test results, including tracking PIRs and defect statuses.
- Proven experience coordinating the scheduling of testing staff, test activities, and meetings.
- Experience providing training and mentorship to testing team members.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, preferably ALM Octane.
- Experience working with the State of Texas projects or agencies.
