We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst
Required Skills:
- Eliciting requirements through customer interviews and creating well-written system requirements documents.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in business process re-engineering and improving software process flows.
- Developing user stories and use cases that adhere to business analysis best practices.
- Designing mockups and wireframes following UX best practices.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong writing and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Documented experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements."
- Experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira."
- Experience working for or collaborating closely with TEA or another state or local education agency.
- Experience with one or more of the following TEA applications: FSP, TSDS, TEA Help Desk.
