We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Oracle Database Developer role.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, develop server/client software, perform unit testing, and document solutions.
- Ensure secure data handling across schemas and servers.
- Implement and maintain database components per client specifications.
- Reverse engineer and troubleshoot legacy applications, including Oracle Forms and Reports.
- Provide technical guidance to teams and management.
- Design and optimize queries for Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Develop scripts for object and data migration, PL/SQL functions, procedures, and packages.
- Support applications within the Oracle Fusion Middleware Suite.
- Assist in migrating Oracle Reports to other platforms and enhancing functionalities.
- Collaborate in project teams, follow security best practices, and ensure compliance.
- Provide after-hours support, assist with database upgrades, and troubleshoot emergencies.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Oracle database design and development, including PL/SQL, SSL, entity relationship diagramming, table normalization, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Reports development and support.
- Expertise in Oracle Web PL/SQL.
- Experience working in Agile project environments.
- Strong testing skills to ensure accessibility and compliance with standards.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of other database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience leading a database team.
- Power BI expertise.
