We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer role.
Analyzes business objectives, identifies solutions, and conducts cost-benefit analyses. Evaluates user requirements and system inefficiencies to optimize processes or enhance existing systems. Collaborates with teams to define input/output needs and reporting structures. Documents user requirements and development steps while assessing system capabilities and feasibility within existing constraints.
Analyzes business objectives, identifies solutions, and conducts cost-benefit analyses. Evaluates user requirements and system inefficiencies to optimize processes or enhance existing systems. Collaborates with teams to define input/output needs and reporting structures. Documents user requirements and development steps while assessing system capabilities and feasibility within existing constraints.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on core AWS services.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience automating deployments using CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, or similar.
- Proficiency in serverless architecture design and implementation.
- Expertise in designing and deploying high-availability and fault-tolerant systems.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, including ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- AWS certifications are highly preferred.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments, where tasks may have clear objectives but require independent problem-solving, situational analysis, and execution planning.
