At Weakley County Schools we are looking to hire a data analyst to join our data team. You will take responsibility for managing our master data set, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.
This individual will also be responsible for managing special initiatives as assigned.
Examples of projects include: patient population analysis, research question queries, QI project support, Patient Centered Medical Home proposal preparation, and submission. Work will be conducted using data from EPIC, WEBI, Anaplan, WorkDay, datacubes, CDW/Caboodle, and other sources.
This position will work closely with health care providers and will require both careful management of large datasets as well as creative and challenging analysis projects.
Software and resources used: R, SQL, Python, Rivanna, and some SPSS.
Required Education : Bachelor's degree
Required Experience : Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow through on complex tasks independently with sound judgement and emotional intelligence. Experience with R, SQL, Python, SPSS and/or SAS statistical programming. Experience managing clinical and/or epidemiologic databases
Preferred Experience:
Proficiency in quantitative database software programs and ability to analyze, organize, and report data. Desire to learn skills related to epidemiology and/or biostatistics (study design, study management, primary data collection, data analysis). Project management experience.

Experience writing and submitting IRB protocol
7.
Health care/patient care experience
