We are looking for a Full time/contract employee for a PMP Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage large projects to successful and timely implementation from conception to completion, working in collaboration with contracted consultants and project teams. Determine objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at completion. Establish and execute project work plans, schedule, risk assessments and timelines to meet project milestones and deliverables. Identify and allocate appropriate resources to ensure the project is completed within committed time, scope and budget.
- Provide a collaborative environment with project teams and System Member users to assure projects to meet critical business requirements. Facilitate team and stakeholder meetings to guide project implementation. Hold regular status meetings with the project team. Keep the project team well informed of changes and project status. Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors. Review deliverables prepared by project team leaders and members. Enforce project standards to minimize exposure and risks. Ensure project decisions are documented and accountable. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicate with project executive sponsors, advisory boards and project directors on project status as appropriate for each group. Prepare status reports and presentations for senior management review and decision making, as appropriate. Revise scope, timeline or budget as appropriate or required with senior management approval.
- Manage and monitor project funds and communicate with senior management on fund status; approve project expenditures, regularly monitor cash flow, and ensure that financial records are up to date.
- Collaborate with change management teams on communications and training initiatives for successful adoption by stakeholders. Participate in training and professional development sessions.
