The initial assignment for the Business Analyst will be to support migration of an existing major data warehouse solution from an outgoing vendor to managed data center where we will assume ongoing maintenance and operations responsibility.
General Responsibilities
- Identifies and documents moderate to extremely complex business requirements for future data warehouse releases
- Works with application architects and product owner liaison to analyze and design data warehouse solutions to meet business requirements
- Supports the product owner liaison in documenting backlog items and effectively communicating requirements to developers
- Develops test plans and scenarios, supports test execution according to plan, manage resolution of defects identified and document test results
- Supports trading partner testing and assists with training partner communication and coordination
- Supports production verification
- Troubleshoots and supports moderately and highly complex client escalations
- Responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships
- Helps identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Regularly peer reviews the work of others and frequently mentors others
- Provide technical support to client teams during implementations of new services and apply subject matter expertise to support escalations
