We are seeking a qualified Senior Database Administrator to join our team.
Required Skills:
• Experience in database administration
• Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL
• Experience in database design, analysis, and performance tuning
• Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services
• Experience creating technical and functional design documentation
• Experience within software development Life Cycle using Agile methodology (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications, for example)
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Azure SQL
• Experience with large volume databases, high availability, and disaster recovery infrastructure
• Proficiency in converting and adapting database structures for cloud environments, specifically Azure
• Experience in configuring PowerBI environments and developing PowerBI reports
• Experience in DevOps technology including CI/CD pipeline and build and deployment tools such as Git
• Experience with migrating On-Prem databases to Cloud (preferably Azure)
• Azure certification is preferred but not required
• DBA Associate certifications are preferred but not required
