We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Full Stack Data Engineer role for the client of Texas Education Agency.
Responsibilities:

- Perform technical analysis by reviewing user requirements and creating design documents.
- Perform coding adhering to TEA and industry standards, best practices, and customer requirements.
- Conduct testing to verify that deliverables meet the requirements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation as needed (e.g., design documents, process flows, object/data models, project plans, environment diagrams, test plans).
- Collaborate with the project team on sprint/release tasks, including providing development effort estimates, discussing architecture and design, triaging and resolving defects across environments, and reporting status on work assignments or issues.
Required Skills:
- Creating ETL processes, transporting, aggregating large data sets between systems
- Experience in SQL Server or Oracle stored procedures, PL/SQL, Dynamic SQL, and exception handling
- Experience in an object-oriented framework such as .NET Core or Java
- XML, JSON, API Testing, JavaScript and JQuery
- Experience mid-large sized, complex enterprise-level SDLC
- Experience with Texas state agencies
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform such as PowerBI and PowerApps
- Experience with project-specific tools such as Jira, Tempo, BitBucket, Confluence
- Scrum/Agile methodologies
