We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee to fill the position of Senior PeopleSoft ERP Developer
As a member of the Maintenance and Operations team, you will be responsible for performing PeopleSoft ERP Developer tasks. You will support the PeopleSoft Maintenance team and handle multiple projects simultaneously. This includes coordinating program modifications for the PeopleSoft Financial and HCM systems to address the needs of business area users, as well as enhancing TWC’s PeopleSoft technical and functional capabilities. You will be working with PeopleSoft FSCM v9.2 and HCM v9.2, covering modules such as (but not limited to) Asset Management, Billing, Contracts, ePro, GL, Inventory, Payables, Purchasing, Receivables, Strategic Sourcing, Core HR, T&L, Payroll, and Commitment Control. Additional duties may be assigned to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in implementing, upgrading, or maintaining PeopleSoft ERP systems
- Technical expertise in supporting the implementation, upgrade, or maintenance of PeopleSoft Finance v9.2 and PeopleTools v8.57 or higher, including Application, PeopleCode, Data Mover Scripts Engine, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, REST services, and SQR
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams while managing multiple responsibilities
- Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills across all levels
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including setting up High Availability Architecture (HA) for PeopleSoft, configuring App Servers, Web Servers, Load Balancers, and Process Schedulers, and configuring PeopleSoft applications on Linux, Unix, and Oracle Engineered Hardware
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PeopleSoft administration issues, performance tuning of database objects, and providing system monitoring and support
- Excellent technical writing skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)
- Experience implementing, upgrading, or maintaining a State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance system, such as WRAPS at the Texas Workforce Commission or CAPPS at the Comptroller of Public Accounts
