We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee to join our team as a Senior PeopleSoft Systems Analyst
In this role, you will support the PeopleSoft Maintenance team and assist in re-platforming a mainframe system to a PeopleSoft Bolt-on module. Your responsibilities will include planning, analyzing user requirements, and automating processes through project management methodologies to ensure technical solutions meet business needs. Key tasks will involve designing system solutions, performing Fit-Gap analysis, and preparing detailed documentation, such as Functional Design Documents (FDD). You will also develop and execute test plans, ensure successful system integration, and support vendors while upholding organizational standards. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, provide support for PeopleSoft Financials, and help maintain smooth operations.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a systems analyst in a technical or analytical role.
- Hands-on experience with design, implementation, and production support of PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM and HCM applications.
- Experience in conducting technical PeopleSoft requirements sessions, including CPR Conference Room Pilot, Fit-Gap analysis, and PeopleSoft configuration and testing (System Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test) and assisting in the development of training documentation.
- Ability to create project documentation, including system requirement specifications, system design specifications, architectural diagrams, Functional Design Documents (FDD), flowcharts, screen prototypes, wireframes, interface specifications, data conversion, process workflows, and database record and field specifications.
- Proficiency with SQL, PS Query, BI Publisher, PeopleTools (PeopleCode Language, Application Engine, Component Interface, SQR), and SaaS applications.
- Strong skills in business analysis and creating custom PeopleSoft solutions for complex challenges.
- Experience with Phire, PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF), or Test Tools such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) – Octane (or earlier versions).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., IBM Data Studio, Squirrel).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification as an Analyst or Developer.
- Proficiency with SQL.
- Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid Software Development Methodologies.
- Knowledge of systems like CAPPS (Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System for Texas), WRAPS (Workforce Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement Systems), and USAS (Uniform Statewide Accounting System).
- Familiarity with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC).
