We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee to fill a Senior .NET Developer role.
As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for developing advanced automated systems within the IT Scheduled Releases team. This role involves managing all phases of the system development life cycle, from analyzing and diagnosing issues to resolving software, data, hardware, and reporting challenges for both internal and external clients. You will design, develop, and test web applications to meet design, accessibility, and usability standards. Additionally, you will document processes, review specification changes, and create test cases for defects related to new or updated policies. You will be expected to build well-structured, maintainable programs that are well-documented and comply with documentation standards and management objectives. Other duties may be required to support ongoing operations.
Required Skills:
- Experience developing .NET web applications using ASP.NET MVC, C#, and LINQ
- Proficiency with SQL (Structured Query Language)
- Familiarity with Version Control
- Recent experience with Razor View Engine and/or Entity Framework
- Experience in developing Java web applications
- Expertise in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap)
- Experience with ORM-related technologies
- Familiarity with AWS and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Microfocus ALM Octane (Application Lifecycle Management)
- Experience building accessible web applications
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices, and application programming techniques
- Ability to test software applications accurately using a data-driven development approach
Preferred Skills:
- Texas Workforce Commission experience
