We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Business Systems Analyst role within the IT Project Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will support multiple projects concurrently, analyze and document business processes, and assist with process reengineering efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and document business processes and user needs.
- Assist with business process reengineering using industry-standard methodologies.
- Identify solution options, assess risks, and conduct necessary analyses.
- Develop detailed documentation outlining business processes and required modifications.
- Plan and facilitate meetings, document process workflows, and track action items.
- Collaborate in a highly interactive environment with project managers, business users, and other stakeholders.
- Support a large-scale system replacement effort by mapping current and future business processes.
- Provide updates and recommendations to project managers and key stakeholders.
- Perform additional duties as needed to maintain operations.
Required Skills:
- Strong background in business systems analysis and user needs assessment.
- Expertise in business process mapping, reengineering, and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Experience facilitating meetings and tracking follow-ups.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information to stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with the State of Texas.
- Proficiency in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN).
- Familiarity with SharePoint.
- Knowledge of Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS) and Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS).
- Experience with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC).
