We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior Database Administrator role.
Oversees the creation and maintenance of production databases, monitors performance, and manages updates to the database management system. Focuses on performance tuning, data modeling, and data integrity. Evaluates user requests, integrates new data elements, and handles database security and recovery. Assists with software installation, benchmarking, and disaster recovery. Ensures compliance with accessibility standards and provides support for accessibility-related issues.

Required Skills:
- Proficient in Oracle Database 12c or higher
- Experienced with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)
- Skilled in Golden Gate for data replication
- Advanced expertise in SQL
- Strong Shell scripting skills
- Experience supporting multi-terabyte databases
- Advanced skills in performance tuning
- Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) – minimum of 4 years
- Proficient in using MS Teams and Channel communication for large teams – minimum of 2 years
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government)
- Proficient in SharePoint
- Skilled in using Jira
- Experienced in working with the Scrum framework
