We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Change Management Consultant role.
Lead organizational change management within the IT PMO, supporting multiple projects. Develop and execute change strategies to drive adoption and sustainability for large-scale system implementations. Plan and design business processes, recommend improvements, and assist managers in guiding teams through transitions. Address training, communication, stakeholder buy-in, and behavioral changes for successful software adoption. Collaborate with technical and business teams to implement change strategies. Conduct impact assessments, mitigate resistance, and lead meetings. Maintain OCM checkpoints, track success metrics, document plans, schedules, and status updates for stakeholders.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in IT operations and change management.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to develop and implement change adoption strategies.
- Lead change initiatives, including communication, impact assessments, and resistance mitigation.
- Plan and facilitate meetings effectively.
- Maintain OCM checkpoints and establish metrics to measure change success.
- Support project managers with documentation of plans, schedules, status reports, and change requests.
- Provide regular, detailed updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, tools, and the project lifecycle.
- Experience managing large-scale organizational change efforts.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SharePoint setup and administration.
- Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) certification.
- Experience working with the State of Texas.
- Familiarity with Unemployment Insurance systems.
