The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the company's logistics department. This includes managing the distribution of goods, ensuring efficient customer service, and overseeing all shipping processes. The Logistics Supervisor will be a key leader in developing and implementing strategies and plans to improve department efficiency and customer service.

Logistics Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate all shipping, receiving, and distribution operations
  • Work closely with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency, customer service, and cost savings
  • Manage the logistics staff and coordinate scheduling and workloads
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Monitor inventory levels, and adjust ordering and storage accordingly
  • Track order fulfillment, and investigate and resolve discrepancies


Logistics Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and distribution processes and procedures
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment
