We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a PeopleSoft HCM developer role.

Job Description:
We are seeking for a PeopleSoft HCM developer. The developer will be part of a dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team. Hands-on experience in Texas state agency or CAPPS system preferred.

The core duties include analyzing and modifying system codes and creating technical design documents to meet batch processes and interface requirements. In addition, troubleshooting and debugging system issues as needed. Must demonstrate and excel in communicating and working with a diverse team with collaboration tools competently in a remote work environment. Also, must be able to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Required Skills:

Experience in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
Experience developing in People Code and Application Packages
Experience developing Application Engine, COBOL, and SQR programs
Experience developing Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
Advanced SQL and PL/SQL hands-on experience
Experience with RHEL OS Scripting
Experience with Oracle Database 12c+
Experience development BI Publisher Reports and PS Queries
Experience working with AWE
Experience analyzing functional design requirements
Experience creating technical design documents
Experience with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
Experience working with SharePoint Lists

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government)
Experience working with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS HCM system
Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Payroll or Time & Labor
Experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with Jira
Experience working with the Scrum framework
