In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions using the Microsoft PowerApps platform. You will streamline business processes by creating efficient, accessible, and user-friendly applications. We are seeking an experienced PowerApps Application Developer to join our Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCoE). In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions using the Microsoft PowerApps platform. You will streamline business processes by creating efficient, accessible, and user-friendly applications. Your work will directly impact our organization’s project management processes and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using PowerApps that integrate with other Microsoft tools like Power Automate, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Solution Implementation: Build workflows and systems to enhance document management, project templates, dashboards, and IT intake workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, systems analysts, and IT management, to gather and understand requirements.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Develop and execute test plans, troubleshoot issues, and ensure applications function as intended.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and user guides for solutions.
- Training & Support: Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams for long-term maintenance of applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly maintain and improve existing solutions, addressing any defects or new requirements in future releases.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3–5 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to PowerApps development.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365. Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Azure.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork. Adaptability and initiative are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in PowerApps (certification preferred).
- 6+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience integrating Microsoft products.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and SQL/PL-SQL (preferred).
