We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft HCM Security Administrator to join our dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending necessary improvements to ensure the integrity and security of the system. You will monitor network traffic for any suspicious activities, create network policies and authorization roles, and safeguard the system against unauthorized access, modifications, and potential threats.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft HCM Security Administrator to join our dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending necessary improvements to ensure the integrity and security of the system. You will monitor network traffic for any suspicious activities, create network policies and authorization roles, and safeguard the system against unauthorized access, modifications, and potential threats.
As part of the upgrade project, your core responsibilities will include identifying security changes prompted by the system upgrade, conducting thorough analyses, and documenting your findings. You will also implement, test, and troubleshoot these security changes. Beyond these core duties, you will be involved in fluid navigation design and other project-related activities, such as system documentation, testing, and providing internal support as needed.
Success in this role will require excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will be working with a diverse team using remote collaboration tools. You must also be adept at estimating workloads, setting deadlines, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Security Administrator, particularly on PeopleSoft HCM implementation or upgrade projects.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, including Employee & Manager Self-Service and Time and Labor modules.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft fluid navigation and work center security.
- Strong skills in identifying security requirements and creating formal documentation for key business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Experience in leading formal work sessions and presenting detailed analyses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Competency in using MS Teams and managing communications within a large team.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience working within a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
- Familiarity with the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS HCM system.
- Experience with the PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Knowledge of SharePoint.
- Experience using Jira for project management.
- Understanding of and experience with the Scrum framework.
