We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Financials PeopleSoft Security Administrator to join our dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team. The Security Administrator will play a crucial role in configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements to ensure the integrity and security of our PeopleSoft environment.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Financials PeopleSoft Security Administrator to join our dedicated CAPPS HCM upgrade project team. The Security Administrator will play a crucial role in configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements to ensure the integrity and security of our PeopleSoft environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement security changes necessary for a major system upgrade, including documentation and testing.
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and take proactive measures to protect against unauthorized access, modifications, and data destruction.
- Develop and manage network policies, authorization roles, and security protocols to safeguard the system.
- Engage in fluid navigation design and support project activities, including documentation, system testing, and other internal support tasks as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse remote team using collaboration tools, estimating work, setting deadlines, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Security Administrator on PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) implementation or upgrade projects.
- Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, particularly in Employee & Manager Self-Service and Time and Labor modules.
- Expertise in PeopleSoft fluid and work center security.
- Demonstrated ability to identify requirements and create formal documentation for key business stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Experience in conducting formal work sessions and presenting detailed analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Familiarity with MS Teams for large team communication and collaboration.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with public sector organizations, including Federal, State, or Local Government entities.
- Previous experience with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) CAPPS HCM.
- Knowledge of the PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
- Experience with SharePoint and Jira.
- Experience working within the Scrum framework.
