We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a CA Gen Developer role.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code for various Texas Medicaid systems using CASE tools (CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen).
- Maintain, enhance, and develop modules and interfaces with other applications.
- Utilize technical skills in CASE tool development, structured programming, and SQL.
- Apply knowledge of Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to develop effective solutions.
- Provide coaching, coordinate/oversee the work of others, and lead small work efforts.
- Interact with clients and maintain client relationships.
- Participate in pager/on-call support, deployment of production releases, and introduction of new services into production environment.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in application maintenance and/or development.
- 3+ years of development experience in CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen, C, C++, C# .NET, or Java.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL.
- 1+ year of experience managing people or leading technical development staff.
- Experience with Texas Medicaid or comparable healthcare or claims processing industry.
- Experience with HP NonStop (aka NSK, Tandem), Unix, or Linux.
- Experience providing production on-call support.
- Experience maintaining customer relationships.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- .NET programming.
- Java backend programming.
- Experience with Oracle DB.
