Job Description
Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for Application Teams. Understands the user’s view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence. Provides expertise on technical concepts of applications and /or user groups and structuring procedures in a logical sequence, due to a broad understanding of the applications. Writes a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses. May be responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of the document.
Additional job details and special considerations
TULIP and WSC user and training guides need to be updated. We need technical writer staff to update these resources promptly to reflect the current functionality and ensure improved customer accessibility. This update will enhance our customer satisfaction and streamline our support processes.
Skills(Required):
- Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.
- Exceptional skills in creating clear, concise, and engaging documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, including but not limited to manuals, instructions, guides, and online help content.
- Exceptional skills in working closely with technical teams to understand product details and features, ensuring accurate and relevant documentation.
- Proven record and exceptional skills in applying innovative content strategies and the latest creative techniques to simplify complex topics for better understanding.
- Exceptional skills in collaborating with the design team to incorporate visual aids (diagrams, videos, animations) into documentation for enhanced clarity.
- Exceptional skills with updating and maintaining existing documents to reflect product updates and changes.
- Exceptional skills with conducting thorough research and interviews with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy.
- Exceptional skills to utilize content management tools and adhere to content quality standards.
- Exceptional ability to participate in user feedback sessions to improve documentation and user experience.
Skills(Preferred):
- Experience authoring documentation in healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical writing, English, communications or a related field.
