We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst role at one of our client site.
Job Description
Role: As a ServiceNow Business Analyst your main responsibility is to analyze business and IT requirements, processes; understand the as-is situation and translate the inputs into solutions based on ServiceNow platform that fulfill the requirements. Your tasks will range from understanding the client’s requirements through applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of ServiceNow in designing an optimal solution (processes, data models, workflows, etc.) to supporting the actual implementation with story writing and testing in Agile frameworks.
The Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst will work closely with the Solution/Technical Architect to ensure the solution is technically feasible and provides real measurable value for the customer.

Your tasks will range from understanding the client’s requirements through applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of ServiceNow in designing an optimal solution (processes, data models, workflows, etc.) to supporting the actual implementation with story writing and testing in Agile frameworks.
The Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst will work closely with the Solution/Technical Architect to ensure the solution is technically feasible and provides real measurable value for the customer.
Tasks:
- Understanding client and business requirements, creating specifications and documentations (via meeting, document analysis, workshops, etc.)
- Providing analysis and modeling for companywide business processes, ability to deduce needs from business operation and realize IT development potentials
- Providing process design to standardize organization’s workflows and business operation while utilizing industry best practices and ServiceNow OOB recommendations and features
- Help collaboration between customers and IT development team. Conducting professional consultation with architects, project managers, team leaders, technical leads, developers and testers
- Preparing proposal and concept creation in IT migration and helping with transition projects
- Creating documentation, training materials and other supporting materials post-implementation to help transition and acceptance of the platform by customer’s end users
- Working with multiple complex systems on a wide range area, taking responsibility for interface/integration design
- Building a trusting relationship with major project stakeholders and leading them to adoption of the best solution
- Supporting the management at strategic planning and at the identification of the organization's business needs, acting as consultant
- Carrying extensive technical/economical knowledge about the business area he/she is working on
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis/consultancy
- 3+ years of experience supporting the configuration and development of ServiceNow
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Complex practical ITIL knowledge through the whole Service Management Lifecycle
- Comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow platform key capabilities and workflow solutions
- Experience implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology and in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including client requirement analysis and system design
- Experience designing and implementing IT and Non-IT related process workflows, procedures based on technical standards and best practices
- Experience in test plan creation and execution as well as provide guidance for key users, preparation of corporate knowledge articles and conducting trainings
- Administration of a ServiceNow instances including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionary, catalog items
- Personal qualities: strong analytical skills, creativity, innovation, passion, eagerness for self-development and a good sense of humor would come in handy working with us, IT geeks
Nice to have skills and capabilities
- ServiceNow certification (CSA, CIS-ITSM, CAD or others)
- ITIL certifications (Foundation, Managing Professional)
- Experience with MS Visio and other BPM tools
