We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a IT Contract Administrator role at one of our client sites.
The Candidate will be part of the CPA Contract Administration and Procurement (CAP) team, performing contract management work.

The Candidate will perform the following assigned tasks:
· Monitors contract performance by examining compliance with terms of contract and policies.
· Requests contract status reporting and documents issues.
· Reports contract data to external systems for legislative and statutory compliance.
· Manages agency contracts as appropriate.
· Provides guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding contract administration, policies, and procedures.
· Assists with developing contract administration policies and procedures.
· Performs desk audits and resolves audit exceptions by defining causes of errors and recommending appropriate dispositions.
· Makes recommendations for contract improvements.
· Responds timely to customer service requests.
· Conducts needs assessments to determine requirements for the purchase of goods or services.
The Candidate will perform other related work as assigned.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS(Required):

- Knowledge of policies and procedures of contract management
- Knowledge of state procurement and contract management requirements, regulations, and best practices
- Experience in collaborating and communicating effectively across multiple subject matter groups
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of security policy, procedures, and requirements
Skills(Preferred):
- Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Knowledge of State of Texas Vendor Performance Tracking System (VPTS)
- Knowledge of Legislative Budget Board reporting (LBB) and Legislative Tracking System (LTS)
- Experience with negotiating pricing and features of contracts
- Experience with conducting needs assessments and sourcing analysis to determine requirements for the purchase of goods or services.
- Knowledge of Centralized Accounting Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) Financial Module
- Knowledge of Salesforce
