We are looking for a Full-time/contract employee for a Medicaid Business Analyst.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Technical Documentation - Maintain current Portal applications used to support the providers, clients & operations. Respond to production support issues & alerts. Work assigned service requests, TIER 3 escalation support requests. Lead all efforts relating to testing &/or coordination of release control efforts. Plan & review test models for product test & release control (e.g., plans, data, & scripts). Work w/ application team lead to identify & document process & technology improvements opportunities which may include defining business processes & performing business process re-engineering as needed. Responsible for analyzing & designing new Portal business processes as needed. Responsible for identifying & defining detailed Portal functional requirements & use cases. Works closely w/ Portal team leads, architects, developers, & other business analysts to assess current Portal capabilities & identify high-level customer requirement to define metrics & performance goals.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS(Required):
- Experience in application maintenance and/or development
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience in testing
- Experience overseeing work of others
- Experience maintaining customer relationships
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of development life cycles
Skills(Preferred):
- Experience with Texas Medicaid or in comparable healthcare or claims processing industry
- Experience with contact center systems specifically CRM and IVR systems
- Basic SQL skills
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Good customer service skills
