We are looking for a Full time contractor or employee for a Project Manager 3 role at one our client site.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
The Project Manager position will be responsible for managing Network Services projects through all phases of the project management lifecycle involving technical design, hardware, software, configuration, security, implementation and deployment elements. The project will involve but not be limited to: switch and router configuration and implementation; WiFi optimization, expansion, and implementation; other network projects. The Project Manager position will report to the Network Services Director.
High-level responsibilities may include:
∙ Manage all phases of Network Information Technology (IT) projects through all phases of the project management lifecycle involving technical design, hardware, software, configuration, security, implementation and deployment elements.
∙ Follow standard project management lifecycle and IT industry practices regarding business and technical objectives, solution design, development and deployment as well as scope, quality, risk, issue, change, communications, stakeholder and vendor management.
∙ Develop all project management deliverables and project artifacts required for the projects.
∙ Build and lead technical and business teams that span multiple disciplines and agencies, keeping them focused and managing schedule and scope.
∙ Achieve project results on schedule, at or below budget and at or above quality requirements within a complex, resource constrained enterprise with competing and conflicting business and technical priorities and requirements as well as including both legacy and current state of the art technology and processes.
∙ Keep the Director and stakeholders informed of project status – schedule, scope, quality, and cost.
∙ Establish timeline and resource requirements for successful execution of the project.
∙ Coordination with key stakeholders and sponsors to obtain approval of resources and timeline.
∙ Working with various IT and business stakeholder areas to ensure that project deliverables are compliant with state, federal, and other applicable agency standards.
∙ Risk identification and coordination of resolution with project leadership.
∙ Provide both technical and project thought leadership.
∙ Apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
∙ All other duties as assigned.
